A-Z Advice Directory
Please do not come to the pharmacy if you suspect you have Covid-19: This puts other patients and our staff at risk. Please follow government guidance to remain in your home.
Our hours have changed: Our pharmacies will now open at 10am and close for an hour (or more depending on local need) during the day. This will allow us to catch up on your orders and serve you better.
Please respect social distancing and use contactless payments if possible: Branches have posted signage and taped markings on the floor to help you follow government guidelines of social distancing (for people to remain 2 meters apart). They may also limit the number of patients in the shop. Please follow the instructions of staff who are trying to keep other patients and themselves safe. And, if you have to cough, please cough into a tissue or into the bend of your elbow – not your hands.
You may have to wait longer than usual or return for your prescription at a later time. Our pharmacies are dealing with an unprecedented volume and we may not be able to offer the same turnaround times or level of one-on-one support that you would usually experience from us. Our staff are very grateful for your patience and understanding.
There is a limit of two of any product: To support the Government’s request that people do not stockpile essentials and to make sure those who need it have access, you will be limited to two items of any product.
We cannot offer additional deliveries at this time: Before the Covid-19 pandemic our pharmacies were already at delivery capacity and delivered to housebound patients only. We are asking that new requests for prescription deliveries are instead picked up by a family member, friend, neighbour or community support group. Your local authority may also be able to provide you with some options for assistance with pick-up.
